Star of the Week - Ken King

The mission is to spotlight individuals who rise above the noise, who challenge outdated systems, and who bring real value to communities that are too often overlooked in a world driven by algorithms and billion-dollar advertising machines.

This week, we proudly announce our 49th Star of the Week:

Ken King.

And make no mistake — this recognition is just the beginning.

Ken first caught our attention through his recent feature in the Spring issue of Melodic Playground Magazine, where his work as a high-performance strategist and systems thinker stood out immediately. In a crowded landscape of buzzwords and surface-level leadership, Ken brings something rare:

Substance.

As the Founder of Boost Innovation and Executive Director of the Calgary Minor Basketball Association, Ken is building performance ecosystems that transform how organizations operate — from youth sports to leadership development and beyond.

His philosophy is simple, but powerful:

Performance is not accidental — it is engineered.

That mindset is exactly why he’s now being welcomed into something else we’re building — something just as intentional.

Our brand-new Organic Business Network Book Club.

Because Ken isn’t just a strategist and leader — he’s also an author whose work dives deep into the psychology of performance, leadership, and cultural systems. His writing challenges readers to rethink what success really looks like, and more importantly, how it’s created.

And that’s what we’re about.

We don’t just promote people.

We share them with the community.

We create space for real voices, real ideas, and real impact.

Ken King has our attention because he represents the future of leadership — one grounded in data, driven by purpose, and built on systems that actually work. Whether he’s designing AI-driven performance tools, reshaping youth basketball infrastructure, or speaking on leadership and culture, his work is rooted in one core belief:

The right environment changes everything.

That belief aligns perfectly with what we stand for at the Organic Business Network.

We are building an ecosystem where entrepreneurs, creators, and leaders can thrive without having to compete against manipulated algorithms or pay-to-play exposure.

We’re here to elevate the cream of the crop.

And Ken King is exactly that.

A devoted father.

A lifelong hoops fan.

A systems architect for the next generation of performance.

And now, officially, our 49th Star of the Week.

This is only the beginning.

We encourage our community to tap in, explore his work, read his books, and follow his journey — because the people we spotlight today are the leaders shaping tomorrow.

And at Organic Business Network, we make sure they get seen.

Star of the Week - Lil Co

At Organic Business Network, part of the creative ecosystem built by Melodic Playground Radio, the mission has always been simple: discover real talent, celebrate authentic voices, and give independent creators the platform they deserve. This week, we are proud to shine the spotlight on an artist who embodies creativity in its purest form. Corey Watson, the Charlotte, North Carolina visionary known as Lil Co, has officially been selected as our 48th Star of the Week.

Lil Co is far more than just another independent artist releasing music online. He is a singer, songwriter, performer, and dancer, a multi-dimensional creative who approaches his craft like a storyteller painting emotion across sound and motion. His work is rooted in authenticity, individuality, and a fearless willingness to challenge the ordinary. That fearless creativity is exactly why his newest project, “Dominion,” has generated such anticipation among listeners who appreciate music with depth and purpose.

Released on Friday the 6th, Dominion is not simply an album—it is a complete artistic statement. While many artists focus only on streaming numbers and quick singles, Lil Co has taken a different path. He has transformed his project into a 30-minute cinematic visual experience, turning the album into a short film that blends music, storytelling, performance, and visual symbolism into one cohesive piece of art.

The result is a powerful multimedia experience where Lil Co expresses a bold and rebellious message rooted in humanity. Through Dominion, he explores themes of freedom, individuality, and love, presenting a narrative that challenges the world to remember what truly matters. It’s a declaration of independence from conformity and a reminder that creativity can still carry meaning.

In the visual film version of the project, Lil Co’s presence as a performer and dancer becomes just as important as his voice. Each movement, scene, and lyric feels intentional, creating a layered experience that allows listeners to connect with the message beyond just the music itself. This approach places Lil Co among a growing wave of independent artists who refuse to stay inside the traditional boundaries of the industry.

For DJ Meladik, founder of Melodic Playground Radio and the voice behind Organic Business Network, artists like Lil Co represent exactly what the platform was created to support. Independent creators who are willing to take risks, invest in their vision, and deliver something real to the audience are the heartbeat of the underground scene.

That is why Lil Co has earned this week’s Star of the Week recognition.

The selection not only celebrates the release of Dominion, but also highlights the bold artistic direction Corey Watson has chosen to pursue. Turning an album into a film requires creativity, dedication, and a clear vision for storytelling—qualities that define the best independent artists working today.

With excitement building around the project, DJ Meladik is also preparing for an upcoming interview with Lil Co, where listeners will have the chance to hear directly from the artist about the inspiration behind Dominion, the meaning behind the visuals, and the journey that led to the creation of this ambitious release.

Melodic Playground Radio is currently reviewing the new music for potential daily rotation, giving fans across the network the opportunity to discover Lil Co’s work and experience the energy behind this groundbreaking project.

One thing is certain: Dominion is not just a release—it’s a statement. And if this project is any indication of where Corey Watson is headed, Lil Co is only getting started.

Congratulations to Lil Co, our 48th Star of the Week, for bringing bold vision, fearless creativity, and a powerful message to the independent music world.

Star of the Week - Terry Lee

At Organic Business Network, our Star of the Week recognition is not about hype, trends, or shortcuts. It’s about respect — respect for the craft, the voice, the journey, and the emotion behind the music. This week, we are proud to name Terryl Lee as our newest Star of the Week, an East Coast R&B/Soul artist whose work reflects patience, purpose, and authenticity at every level.

Terryl Lee is an East Coast resident, actively performing throughout the New York City and Connecticut live music circuit. His sound is rooted in classic R&B and soul traditions, but his approach is deeply personal — built on lived experience, real emotion, and genuine connection with listeners. Rather than chasing algorithms or viral moments, Terryl Lee has earned his audience the traditional way: through consistency, live performance, and songs that speak directly to the heart.

This week also marks a major milestone in his journey. As Melodic Playground Radio officially introduces Terryl Lee to the West Coast, his music now enters a new indie ecosystem that values real human artists and original voices. With the addition of his song “Patience” to Melodic Playground Radio, Terryl Lee steps onto a platform known for championing authenticity and breaking artists beyond their regional borders.

Terryl Lee earned this recognition through his song “Choose Me,” which was recently Respected on the Melodic Playground Music Review Series — a distinction that is not given lightly. In a review environment where hundreds of submissions are evaluated and only a select few pass the bar, “Choose Me” stood out for its emotional honesty, vocal integrity, and unmistakably human presence.

“Choose Me” is not a song designed to impress machines. It’s a song designed to connect with people. From the vocal delivery to the lyrical vulnerability, the track carries the weight of someone asking to be seen, valued, and chosen — not as an option, but as a priority. That sincerity is exactly what earned the song its Respect during the review process.

At Melodic Playground, respect is not about perfection. It’s about truth. And “Choose Me” delivered truth in a way that couldn’t be manufactured or replicated.

The addition of Terryl Lee’s song “Patience” to Melodic Playground Radio feels intentional, almost symbolic. In an industry increasingly driven by speed, shortcuts, and artificial output, “Patience” serves as a reminder that meaningful music takes time. The song reflects the same values Terryl Lee embodies as an artist — restraint, emotional clarity, and trust in the process.

“Patience” doesn’t rush its listener. It allows space for reflection, emotion, and resonance. It’s the kind of record that grows with each listen, revealing more depth the longer you sit with it. That quality aligns perfectly with Melodic Playground Radio’s mission to amplify music that lasts beyond a single moment.

Terryl Lee’s introduction to the West Coast is more than a geographic expansion — it’s a cultural bridge. His East Coast soul roots now meet a West Coast indie network that celebrates originality and real artistry. This moment represents growth not just for the artist, but for the listeners discovering him for the first time.

As his catalog reaches new ears, Terryl Lee stands as a reminder of why human artists still matter. His music carries fingerprints — emotion, breath, imperfection, intention — the things technology can imitate, but never own.

Being selected as Star of the Week is not a finish line — it’s a spotlight on a journey that’s still unfolding. With “Choose Me” earning respect, “Patience” entering rotation, and a new West Coast audience now listening in, Terryl Lee is positioned for a powerful next chapter.

Organic Business Network and Melodic Playground Radio are proud to support artists like Terryl Lee — artists who prove that real voices, real stories, and real emotion will always rise above the noise.

Star of the Week - Caleb Robertson

At Melodic Playground, we don’t crown Stars of the Week lightly. Every artist who earns that title represents something bigger than a song—they represent intention, authenticity, and the unteachable magic that only real human beings can create. Today, I’m proud to announce that Caleb Robertson has been officially selected as our 44th Star of the Week, following the approval of his music submission to Melodic Playground Radio. But the truth is, this moment was never just about approval—it was about recognition.

Caleb Robertson is a breakthrough artist in the truest sense of the word. Not only was his submission accepted, but his standout single “Rearview” has already earned its first award nomination of the year, and he will be featured in the upcoming issue of Melodic Playground Magazine. For an artist at this stage, that kind of momentum doesn’t happen by accident—it happens when something real cuts through the noise.

“Rearview” is a powerful homage to Caleb’s favorite artist, Michael Jackson, but make no mistake—this is not imitation. This is influence done right. The spirit of MJ is present in the movement, the intention, and the emotion, but the voice is unmistakably Caleb Robertson’s own. In fact, one of the most defining moments of the track happens in a way most listeners might never consciously notice.

Halfway through the song, there’s a moment—a subtle, human imperfection—where you can hear Caleb’s lisp come through. To most people, it passes by like air. But to a DJ. To a producer. To someone who has listened to tens of thousands of submissions? That moment speaks volumes. It’s proof of life. Proof of breath. Proof of a human being behind the microphone.

And that moment is one of the exact reasons this song was approved.

At Melodic Playground, we have drawn a clear line in the sand: no AI artists will ever win our awards. Not because technology doesn’t have a place—but because emotion cannot be replicated. A bot doesn’t have a past. It doesn’t doubt itself. It doesn’t carry fear, hope, trauma, or triumph in its chest. It doesn’t have a voice crack because of a memory. And it will never accidentally reveal something vulnerable the way a real artist does.

Caleb Robertson is the perfect example of why the bots can’t do what we do.

“Rearview” isn’t just a song—it’s a statement. It’s about reflection, growth, and forward motion. It’s about looking back only long enough to understand how far you’ve come, then stepping into what’s next with clarity and confidence. That message couldn’t be more fitting as Melodic Playground enters a new year, especially for all the people who doubted us, dismissed us, or told us real music didn’t matter anymore.

This song is the perfect theme song for that moment.

Caleb’s music comes from real emotion, lived experience, and genuine respect for the artists who paved the way—while still carving out his own lane. That balance is rare. And when we hear it, we protect it, amplify it, and celebrate it.

So today, we celebrate Caleb Robertson. We celebrate “Rearview.” We celebrate real voices, real flaws, real stories, and real art.

The future belongs to humans who feel—and Caleb Robertson is already driving straight into it, leaving the doubt exactly where it belongs:

In the rearview.

Star of the Week 39 - Moo You

Organic Business Network was DJ Meladik's idea, He wanted to train me how to run a company from scratch and something that would be mine but that was when we thought it was impossible for me to have a baby. Life has changed and Organic Business Network and Melodic Playground will continue to  shine a spotlight on an those that deserve it...This week is beautiful and bittersweet at the same time Because today, I celebrate not only our Star of the Week, the Houston rapper Moo-You, but also share my own heartfelt farewell as I step back from my role as an indie music publicist to focus on a new chapter of my life — motherhood.

So let’s start where all great stories start: with the music.

Moo-You is the kind of rapper you discover once… and then immediately wonder where he has been hiding all this time. He’s a Houston native through and through — carrying that Texas grit, that down-south soul, and that unshakeable honesty that defines some of hip hop’s greatest storytellers. DJ Meladik says " He reminds me of ScarFace and UGK "

But what sets Moo-You apart isn’t just his Style, his voice or lyrics. It’s his intent.

He raps like he has something to prove, but more importantly, something to preserve: the heart of real hip hop.

His impressive catalog — from “Nothing” to “Namaste,” to the thunderous and cinematic “Coming Down” — shows a man who isn’t chasing trends. He’s carving out a lane that’s entirely his own. Emotional without being fragile, confident without being cocky, spiritual without being preachy — Moo-You balances artistry with humanity in a way that hits you right in the chest.

This is why when his music landed in my inbox, I knew instantly he was special. And clearly, Melodic Playground Radio is showing love.

It brings me so much joy to officially announce that Moo-You is now part of the Melodic Playground Radio family. His sound is now in daily rotation, flowing across the airwaves of a station that’s quickly becoming the nucleus of independent music discovery.

Melodic Playground Radio has always prioritized the artists who put in real work — the scribblers, the dreamers, the late-night creators who pour soul into every decibel. And Moo-You fits this blueprint with perfection. His sound elevates the station, while the station amplifies his voice. It’s a partnership that feels destined.

Moo-You’s feature in Melodic Playground Magazine marks another major milestone. His article captures not only the talent behind the mic but the man behind the mission. It highlights the layers, the grit, the introspection, and the relentless drive that has shaped his music. Many artists talk about “the grind,” but Moo-You actually lives it — and it shows in every bar.

Seeing him grace those pages feels symbolic. It feels like the beginning of a long, well-deserved climb.

Now comes the part I’ve tried to rehearse in my mind, but no amount of rewriting makes it easier to say:

This is my final post for Organic Business Network… for now.

Life has shifted in the most magical way. I am now the proud mother of baby Lyric, a tiny miracle with a name that feels like destiny in a family rooted in melody and storytelling. And with this blessing comes the need to pause, breathe, and give my full heart to motherhood.

It’s not goodbye forever. It’s just “see you later.” But stepping away from this platform — from you, from these artists, from the excitement of discovering raw talent — tugs at my heartstrings.

To DJ Meladik, the visionary behind the Melodic Playground movement: thank you.

Thank you for trusting my voice.
Thank you for believing in the writers behind the music as much as the artists themselves.
Thank you for building a space where indie creators don’t just exist — they thrive.

I am certain you will continue to take this movement to the moon — and maybe even further — so baby Lyric can one day look back and see that the legacy continued without hesitation. You are the heartbeat of this community, and I know the future is brighter than ever.

So here we are: celebrating the rise of Moo-You while closing a very special chapter in my own life. The emotions are swirling — pride, joy, nostalgia, gratitude — but above all, I feel hope. Hope for the artists who continue to show up with passion. Hope for the listeners who still crave authenticity. Hope for the movement Melodic Playground Radio represents.

And to Moo-You — congratulations, truly. You earned this moment, and I believe it’s just the beginning.

With love, gratitude, and a heart full of melody,

Star of the Week - Stagger

If you’ve been tuned into Melodic Playground Radio lately, chances are you’ve already felt the aftershock of Stagger’s new album shaking up the airwaves. This isn’t just another drop in the indie rap scene — this is a full-on musical takeover. Our 37th Star of the Week, Stagger, is an artist who refuses to play by anyone else’s rules, and it shows in every bar, beat, and breath he delivers.

From the moment his tracks hit rotation, the reaction was instant — and loud. Listeners called in, social media blew up, and streams skyrocketed. The Melodic Playground fam knows authentic energy when it hears it, and Stagger brings exactly that: raw truth, unfiltered emotion, and a fire that could power a city. You can hear the hunger in his flow, but what really sets him apart is the heart behind it.

His latest project, The Stagger Effect, feels like a manifesto for indie resilience. Every track tells a piece of his story — the grind, the growth, and the guts it takes to stay true when the industry tries to shape you into something else. Whether he’s flexing his lyrical muscle or letting down the guard to reveal vulnerability, Stagger does it all with fearless honesty.

As for me? Let’s just say DJ Meladik has had this album on repeat since day one. There’s something special about an artist who gives you goosebumps and motivation in the same verse. The production hits hard but leaves space for the message to breathe — a perfect balance that keeps you nodding your head and thinking about your own hustle.

What makes Stagger’s rise even more exciting is how it aligns with the spirit of Melodic Playground Radio. We’ve always been about giving independent artists a real platform — not just a quick spin, but genuine spotlight and support. And when an artist like Stagger comes through, with both the talent and the tenacity, it reminds me exactly why I started this movement in the first place.

Now, here’s the part I’m really excited about — I’ve got an exclusive DJ Meladik interview lined up with Stagger very soon. I can already tell it’s going to be one for the books. We’re diving into his creative process, the stories behind the new album, and what’s next on his journey. If you know me, you know I don’t do surface-level interviews. We go deep — the mindset, the motivation, the meaning behind the music.

This moment feels bigger than a feature — it feels like a wave starting to build. Stagger isn’t just having a moment; he’s creating one. His sound speaks for the dreamers, the late-night grinders, and the believers who turn pain into poetry. And the best part? This is only the beginning.

So turn that volume up and get ready — because the Stagger Effect is officially in full motion, and the whole indie world is about to feel it. Congratulations to our 37th Star of the Week, Stagger — your time is now, and Melodic Playground Radio is here for every beat of it.

Star of the Week - Jittaun

Hold onto your headphones, because the energy coming from New Jersey just hit a whole new level! The multitalented artist Jittaun has officially joined the Melodic Playground Radio family, and let me tell you — she’s got the kind of sound that refuses to sit quietly in any one genre. Her song “Chase” has been heating up the airwaves, capturing listeners’ hearts (and playlists) all across the board. From TikTok to the clubs to your favorite radio station, Jittaun is the name on everyone’s lips — and now, she’s making her mark as one of our most talked-about artists of the year.

When I first heard “Chase,” I immediately knew this track was something special. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to roll the windows down, turn the volume up, and let the world know you’ve got that main-character energy. Jittaun brings together pop, R&B, rock, hip-hop, and even afrobeats — creating her own unstoppable genre she calls fusion pop. The result? A bold, electric sound that feels like the future.

Born in New York City, raised in New Jersey and Switzerland, Jittaun’s global upbringing shines through every beat. She doesn’t just make music — she builds worlds. Her artistry fuses rhythm, culture, and pure emotion. You can hear her roots in her bilingual lyrics, her confidence in every vocal run, and her creativity in the way she pushes musical boundaries. From her debut single “Glitter” to viral hits like “En Calor,” she’s proven she can dominate any lane she chooses. And now, with “Chase,” she’s showing the world exactly why she’s on track to be a major force in 2026.

What sets Jittaun apart is her fearless individuality. She’s not afraid to experiment, to mix genres, or to take risks that most artists shy away from. And it’s paying off — she’s quickly becoming one of the most popular artists on Melodic Playground Radio, and fans can’t get enough of her style, her voice, and her message. She’s about empowerment, creativity, and unapologetic self-expression — values that fit perfectly with what Melodic Playground stands for.

But that’s not all — Jittaun’s success story doesn’t end with radio spins. She’ll be featured in the next issue of Melodic Playground Magazine, where readers can dive deeper into her journey, her influences, and her artistic vision. Trust me, you’ll want to read every word. Jittaun is more than just an artist — she’s a whole movement. Her bold visuals, fashion-forward flair, and powerful storytelling are taking the internet by storm.

I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to our Melodic Playground family. As someone who lives for discovering authentic, boundary-pushing talent, Jittaun checks every box. She’s raw, real, and radiantly herself — the kind of artist who reminds you why music matters. And with her unstoppable momentum heading into the new year, I’m calling it now: 2026 belongs to Jittaun.

So, whether you’re tuning in from your car, your couch, or your favorite late-night hangout spot — get ready to “Chase” this wave with us. Add Jittaun to your playlist, catch her feature in our upcoming magazine issue, and turn the volume up loud, because this is one artist who’s here to stay.

Welcome to the family, Jittaun — the fusion pop queen redefining what modern music sounds like!

Star of the Week - Dusty Owen

This week, I am beyond excited — like jumping-out-of-my-chair excited — to announce that Inward of Eden is our Star of the Week here at Organic Business Network! These Knoxville rockers just landed on Melodic Playground Radio, and trust me, my speakers haven’t stopped shaking since. I’ve always said that rock and country are my personal playgrounds — and when a band like Inward of Eden storms onto the scene, it feels like the universe just handed me a backstage pass to my own musical heaven. The indie band is actually #1 on the Reverb Nation Charts and I am here to tell you why!

If you haven’t heard of them yet, let me catch you up. Inward of Eden was born in the heart of Tennessee and fronted by the incredibly talented Dusty Owen, who turned a solo vision into a full-on rock explosion. Their sound? Think heart meets heavy. It’s got that old-school rock soul, but with modern muscle — the kind that makes you want to roll the windows down and crank it until your neighbors become fans too.

Their debut album, Moments to Memories, set the tone — full of anthems, attitude, and emotion. It was recorded at Lakeside Studios and produced by Travis Wyrick, a name you’ll recognize from his work with rock legends like P.O.D., 10 Years, and Pillar. That alone tells you these guys mean business. But then came their follow-up EP, Mind Control, and whew… that’s when things got wild. Critics from Skope Magazine and Indie Band Guru praised it for balancing power and melody, and I couldn’t agree more. One minute you’re head-banging, the next you’re getting all in your feelings — and that’s the sweet spot where real music lives.

On stage, Inward of Eden doesn’t just perform — they ignite. They’ve shared the spotlight with heavy hitters like Sevendust, Thousand Foot Krutch, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and 10 Years, and yet they always hold their own. Their chemistry, passion, and connection with the crowd are undeniable. Every show feels like an experience, not just a performance.

Now that their latest music has officially been added to Melodic Playground Radio, you can catch that same electricity right from your playlist. I can’t lie — as a lifelong lover of guitars that growl and lyrics that hit you in the gut, this is right up my alley. Rock music has a heartbeat, and Inward of Eden just gave it a serious adrenaline shot.

And guess what? They’re part of the Young Outlaw Music family, which makes me even more thrilled. The whole Young Outlaw crew represents real artistry — musicians who pour their souls into their craft without chasing trends or algorithms. That’s exactly what Organic Business Network and Melodic Playground Radio are all about: celebrating authenticity, one song at a time.

Behind the mic, I’m already plotting my next move — an exclusive interview with Dusty Owen himself. I want to dig into their creative process, their journey, and what’s next for these Tennessee trailblazers. Something tells me this conversation is going to be one for the books, so keep your ears open because we’ll be sharing it soon on both our blog and radio platforms.

Inward of Eden’s story reminds me why I started doing this in the first place — to give passionate, hard-working artists a space where their music can shine without filters or fake followers. Their rise is a reminder that real music still wins hearts, and I’m honored to play a part in that.

So crank up your volume, grab your air guitar, and join me in celebrating Inward of Eden, this week’s Star of the Week! Welcome to Melodic Playground Radio, gentlemen — your sound just found its home.

Star of the Week - Gieo Music

Some artists make music. Others create whole worlds. This week, the Organic Business Network is beyond excited to shine our spotlight on Gieo Music, a producer-artist who has been quietly building something unforgettable. With his brand-new album Yours dropping on all platforms next week, Gieo isn’t just leveling up—he’s reminding us all why indie music is the heartbeat of culture.

It all started with Tropical Love, Gieo’s debut album released on January 1, 2024. Smooth, melodic, and packed with heart, it was the kind of project that introduced the world to his creative DNA. Fans fell for the sound, and the underground started buzzing. But here’s the twist—Tropical Love wasn’t the peak. It was just the launchpad.

Fast forward to now, and Gieo is gearing up to release Yours, the album everyone’s already talking about. Think of it as Tropical Love’s bold, daring older sibling—the one who isn’t afraid to show up, take risks, and turn every head in the room.

How good is Yours? So good that when it leaked early on Melodic Playground Radio, nobody complained—they celebrated. Four of the album’s biggest tracks are already in daily rotation, and the station has straight-up called them “some of the best songs we’ve ever aired.” That’s not hype—that’s history in the making.

Fans tuning in have been swept up by the hypnotic beats, vulnerable lyrics, and sonic richness of the songs. Instead of spoiling the surprise, the leak has only turned the anticipation dial up to maximum. Now everyone’s counting down the days until the album officially drops next week.

Gieo’s breakout moment isn’t just happening in the headphones of his fans—it’s happening across the indie music community. He’s been crowned this week’s Star of the Week by the Organic Business Network, a title we save for artists who are truly moving the needle.

And here’s where it gets even bigger: DJ Meladik, founder of Melodic Playground Radio, has personally nominated Gieo for the station’s Artist of the Year Award. According to Meladik, Gieo hasn’t just delivered good music—he’s submitted four of the best songs the station has ever aired. That’s the kind of recognition most indie artists dream of, and Gieo is living it.

Of course, in 2025, music isn’t just about the songs—it’s about the connection. And Gieo knows how to connect. His main platforms, TikTok and YouTube, are buzzing with clips, drops, and creative content that bring fans closer to the artist behind the music. He’s fun, he’s real, and he’s proof that indie artists don’t need a corporate machine to build a movement—they just need authenticity and consistency.

So, what’s next for Gieo Music? More interviews (yes, we’re working on that 👀), more connections, and more proof that indie artists can rewrite the rules. With Yours set to drop next week on every major streaming platform, there’s no doubt this is his moment.

The Organic Business Network is proud to call him our Star of the Week. But don’t blink—because Gieo Music is on the fast track to being a star for years to come.

Mark your calendars. Next week, Yours is officially yours.

Stars of the Week - Bent Band

The Organic Business Network is proud to announce Bent, the electrifying Memphis rock band, as this week’s Stars of the Week. Known for their raw energy, powerful stage presence, and undeniable musicianship, Bent has quickly become one of the most talked-about independent bands in the region. Fresh off a standout performance at the Delta Fair in Cordova, Tennessee, the group has proven that they are more than just another local act—they are a force poised for bigger stages and broader recognition.

Bent has carved out a reputation for delivering performances that leave crowds breathless. Their lineup—Dragon on lead guitar and vocals, Edge on lead vocals and bass, Heath on keys, vocals, and guitar, and Craig on drums—brings together four seasoned musicians who share a deep love for authentic rock and roll. Each member brings their own unique flair, but together they form a cohesive unit that thrives on passion, energy, and connection with their audience.

At the Delta Fair, Bent showcased exactly why they stand out in the Memphis music scene. Their mix of hard-hitting originals and dynamic covers resonated with fans of all ages, while their stage presence demanded attention from start to finish. The crowd’s response was clear: Bent is here to stay.

The band’s live reputation isn’t their only calling card. Recently, Bent has earned a well-deserved feature on Melodic Playground Radio, where their tracks “See What I See” and “Maximum Destruction” have been gaining traction. For a station that prides itself on variety and innovation, Bent has injected a fresh dose of energy that aligns perfectly with the platform’s mission to showcase rising independent talent.

See What I See demonstrates the band’s ability to balance gritty emotion with melodic drive, capturing listeners with both intensity and vulnerability. Meanwhile, Maximum Destruction highlights Bent’s harder edge—a powerhouse anthem fueled by roaring guitar riffs and thundering percussion. Together, these songs reveal a band capable of versatility while still maintaining a consistent identity rooted in unapologetic rock.

Their feature on Melodic Playground Radio has not only expanded their fan base but also positioned them as a band that can seamlessly transition from the live stage to radio rotation. This is no small feat for an indie rock group competing against both mainstream acts and a flood of AI-generated content.

With their growing recognition, Bent stands at the threshold of an exciting future. The Memphis rock scene has always been fertile ground for innovative talent, but Bent’s presence brings something particularly special. Their dedication to authentic, high-energy music fills a gap in today’s landscape—where originality and raw passion are sometimes overshadowed by manufactured sounds.

Looking ahead, the band plans to continue expanding their reach through more live shows, original releases, and collaborations. Their trajectory suggests that regional success is only the beginning. If their momentum continues, it won’t be long before Bent becomes a name recognized well beyond the Memphis area.

At the core of Bent’s rise is a reminder of why independent music matters. Their story reflects the resilience and creativity of artists who are committed to building something real—without shortcuts, without pretense, and without losing their voice. The recognition they’ve received, from rocking the Delta Fair stage to earning airplay on Melodic Playground Radio, highlights the impact that grassroots support and dedicated artistry can achieve.

As this week’s Stars of the Week, Bent embodies the spirit of the Organic Business Network: hardworking, talented, and committed to growth. They remind us that live music is still alive and well, that rock still has a pulse, and that independent artists have the power to move audiences in unforgettable ways.

Star of the Week - Wiltado

This is Why we dig through the underground, why we stay independent, why we believe in organic growth over algorithms. This week, I’m honored to shine the spotlight on a true gem — a bold and gifted artist out of Jamaica who’s shaking up our charts and winning hearts all at once. His name is Wiltado, and he is officially the Organic Business Network’s Star of the Week.

From the moment I heard Love for You, I knew something special had entered our airwaves. Wiltado’s voice carries something you can’t fake — truth, warmth, and depth. It’s not just music; it’s medicine. Then came “Time Is Now, and that sealed the deal. That track hit me like a wave — powerful, purposeful, and right on time. It’s the kind of record that makes you sit up straighter and believe in your journey again.

Wiltado isn’t just another voice in the crowd. He’s the kind of artist who stands for something. Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, he blends the rich soul of reggae and dancehall with the spirit of hip-hop and R&B, creating a sound that’s both grounding and uplifting. He’s a singjay in the truest sense — weaving melody and message into every track, touching on themes of love, perseverance, and the daily struggles we all face.

But what makes Wiltado our Star of the Week isn’t just his sound — it’s his mission. He’s not chasing clout; he’s chasing purpose. He creates music that speaks to the people, music that motivates, heals, and inspires. He’s the kind of artist we love to support because his rise is completely organic. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just raw talent, real work, and an unwavering commitment to uplift his community through sound.

As Queen Meladee and co-founder of Melodic Playground, I can proudly say Wiltado is the first Jamaican artist to join our family — and he’s already helping take our station to new heights. His music fits beautifully with our vision of authentic, independent artistry. And trust me, this is just the beginning.

If you haven’t listened to “Love for You” or “Time Is Now” yet, go do that now. These aren’t just songs — they’re statements. Wiltado is reminding us all to move with intention, to love with depth, and to use our voices for something greater.

It’s artists like Wiltado that keep the Organic Business Network thriving. He is proof that you don’t have to sell out to stand out. You just have to stay true, stay grounded, and keep putting out music that matters.

Welcome to the spotlight, Wiltado. You’ve earned it. And we’re so proud to be part of your journey.

Star of the Week - Niko

At Organic Business Network, we don’t just promote—we believe in indie artists. Our mission has always been to uplift creative voices that deserve to be heard, supported, and celebrated. This week, we’re proud to spotlight an artist whose passion, creativity, and global potential embody everything we stand for. Say hello to our new Star of the Week: Niko, the Italian pop newcomer whose single “Anime Perse” is now making waves on Melodic Playground Radio.

In a world saturated with overproduced and underdeveloped music, Niko brings something refreshing—heart. “Anime Perse,” which translates to Lost Souls, is more than just a song. It’s a mood. It’s a journey. It’s a sound that’s unapologetically modern while staying deeply human. With its vibrant pop production and unmistakable anime-inspired aesthetic, the track connects across cultures and languages, offering something that indie fans everywhere can feel.

We were immediately drawn to Niko’s voice—not just his vocals, but his artistic voice. As an emerging artist, he’s already carved out a distinct identity, one that feels global yet deeply personal. With roots in Italy and eyes on the world, Niko is part of a new wave of creatives who understand that music today has no borders. His sound—emotive, upbeat, and cinematic—is exactly the kind of artistry we champion here at Organic Business Network.

And thanks to the partnership between Organic Business Network and Melodic Playground Radio, we have a powerful platform to introduce indie talents like Niko to a wider audience. Melodic Playground doesn’t just spin tracks—it tells stories. It creates a space where emerging voices are heard alongside industry veterans. And Niko? He fits right in.

This is why we’ve gone the extra mile: sharing Niko’s music across our digital platforms, passing out flyers locally, and featuring him in upcoming blog content and artist showcases. We're not just watching his journey—we’re invested in it. That’s what community-based, organic promotion is all about.

Supporting artists like Niko isn’t just good for the culture—it’s essential. Indie musicians don’t have the benefit of massive marketing budgets or corporate hype machines. What they have instead is real talent, genuine connection, and a story to tell. At Organic Business Network, we work to fill the gap—bringing visibility, momentum, and grassroots support to those who are truly doing the work.

We’re proud to celebrate Niko’s growing success, and we’re even more excited for what’s ahead. “Anime Perse” is just the beginning of what we believe will be a long and impactful career. Whether you're a longtime listener of Melodic Playground or someone just discovering new music, now’s the perfect time to tune in and support the movement.

Let’s keep the energy going. Let’s keep pushing for the indie artists who make the world sound better. And let’s keep reminding the industry: you don’t need a major label to make a major impact.

Stream “Anime Perse” now on Melodic Playground Radio, and follow Organic Business Network for more spotlights, stories, and support for independent artists around the globe.
